The Season of Raising Young Children
What to expect
This season is long, stretching over years, underlying all you do. Writing can be disjointed and difficult, especially since several seasons converge—the need for self-care, the liminal space of transitioning from one life to the next, and, for some, feelings of discontent as new rhythms and routines are embraced. But as you grow as a parent, you can also grow as a writer, discovering new ways to work, finding harmony in writing less than you’re used to, and embracing the present moment.
